Objective

To use my photography background and transferable skills to deliver creative visual solutions satisfying both common and the most unique customer needs.

Skills

  • Excellent self-organization, time management, and individual research skills. This is proved by achieving awards for a high GPA in a college, receiving a 95/100 grade for a final BA project, helping other students to gain a better understanding of course material, and delivering visual products to customers on time within a predetermined scope.

  • Excellent communication skills were developed due to being a peer tutor that required strong advising, coaching, and clarification abilities as well as expressing empathy to those students who struggled to receive sufficient grades and pass courses.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills in critical situations. Negotiating with unsatisfied clients, misunderstanding consequences resolution, and finding a consensus were the most challenging tasks to overcome in the photography industry.

  • Strong critical thinking, fast learning abilities, and an ability to use past experience in resolving issues. This has helped me to learn the basics of photography on my own, study English at an advanced level in 9 months, and switch academic programs without serious difficulties.

  • Experienced working in groups and comfortable taking on a leadership / project manager role, particularly, in research projects. Most group projects that were made under my management have received an “A” grade.

  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Russian.

  • Deep understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of photography from both scientific and artistic perspectives including lighting, composition, colour, and exposition management.

  • Very experienced (9+ years) in working with clients, identification of their critical needs, and delivering the desired results.

  • Very knowledgeable in marketing trends, market entry strategies, Social Media networks, content creation (presentations, illustrations, posters, brochures, diagrams), and website maintenance.

  • Experienced in using professional photography and video equipment: DSLR cameras (Canon), lenses, studio/mobile lighting, sound recording equipment, and industry-specific editing monitors (10-bit).

  • Proficient in working with visual design, postproduction, photo, and video editing software: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and Sony Vegas.

  • Knowledgeable in programming languages, website creation process, and specific standards: C, C++, Visual Basic, Pascal, HTML, and CSS.

  • Advanced knowledge of technological processes and very comprehensive computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio) and AutoCAD.
